The graph below gives information from a 2008 report about consumption of energy in the USA since 1980 with projections until 2030.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

There are few details on this IELTS writing task 1 so it is not easy to write 150 words and use appropriate vocabulary.

We categorise this as a flow chart but it is also a process. Flow charts look rather complicated but just follow the arrows.

Quite a standard writing task 1 process. What extra vocabulary could you add to this?. Don’t forget to use the passive voice for a 7.
