Frequently asked questions

We aim to return your work to you as soon as possible although this can depend on demand! You will receive your corrections within 48 hours of submitting your essay, and usually much sooner.

Once you have paid and enrolled onto the corrections course, you will be able to access the service. There are detailed instructions about how to submit in the course.

The essay is submitted through a text box in the writing corrections course. You will also need to submit the question. For general task 1s and task 2s, this is done through a text box. However, for academic task 1s, these will need to be uploaded as images or pdfs.

Once your essay has been corrected and your feedback prepared, you will receive an email containing your corrections as a PDF attachment.

We chose a 48-hour turnaround as this gives us more than enough time to correct your essay – usually you will receive your essay much sooner. We will let you know as soon as possible if there is a delay in your corrections and give you the option of a full refund should it take longer than 48 hours.

Our writing corrections service gives you an excellent indicator of your likely score in an IELTS test. However, we cannot guarantee that your score in a real test will be identical. Test day nerves, the writing question on the day, strict time limits in the test and other factors could affect your performance in a real test. See our blog post for top tips on how to get the most out of your writing corrections.
